Progress on First HAED

I'm finally getting around to updating what I've done on my first HAED! The name of the design is Believe. It's based on the artwork of Jessica Galbreth. 


I started this on May 19th and I haven't put it down yet ;o). I've lost track of exactly how many hours I have in it. I just put in a stitch or two whenever I get a chance. The pictures aren't great. My husband has our camera with him on a trip, so they're taken with my cell phone. Hopefully, I'll be able to get some better ones in the next day or so....

My New Acquisition

I finally decided on a pattern from HAED last night. I've been dithering about this for almost a week. I finally convinced myself that I might have time to do more than one HAED in this lifetime -- so just choose already! So here's what I'm doing (as soon as I finish Wizard's Quilt):

The designer is Jessica Galbreth and I love the colors. This is one of their "quick-stitches." It only has 29,250 stitches as opposed to some of the bigger ones I want that have hundreds of thousands of them! Guess I'll find out what their definition of a quick stitch is soon enough ;o).

After getting some advise from veteran HAED stitchers and looking at their Stitch-Along Blog, I've decided to do this design one over one on 25 count Lugana. If you have any other advise, please speak up!!
